100 Women Who Care Ottawa meets Monday, Sept. 14 at the Heart & Crown, 353 Preston St., with a social hour beginning at 5 p.m. and the meeting running from 6 p.m. to 7. The group is always looking for new members and has compiled a Top-5 list of reasons to join.

100 Women Who Care Ottawa meets Monday, Sept. 14 at the Heart & Crown, 353 Preston St., with a social hour beginning100 Women Who Care will start its second year in operation with a meeting on May 4. The organization, which launched in May 2014, has had a successful first year, raising nearly $50,000 and helping 12 grassroots Ottawa charities.at 5 p.m. and the meeting running from 6 p.m. to 7. The group is always looking for new members and has compiled a Top-5 list of reasons to join.

"45 Minutes, 3 charities and $11925 - Not bad for the inaugural meeting of 100 Women Who Care Ottawa.  The fundraising group held it's first meeting Monday night at the Heart and Crown on Preston.  The money raised goes to help support Empathy House, Ottawa-Carleton Lifeskills, and the Shephards of Good Hope.  The group will meet four times a year, with each woman promising to donate $100 to one of the featured charities.  Learn more at the Facebook page WomenWhoCare Ottawa"
